Come experience the Moab Twelve Hour Adventure Race on Saturday the 11th, 2015 in beautiful Grand County Utah.
The Adventure Xstream Series is having their 15th annual Moab Twelve Hour Adventure Race on Saturday the 11th of April this year. It kicks off on the tail of the Moab Jeep Safari and runs just this one day throughout the extreme terrain of the Moab back country.
Anyone who’s been to Moab this time of year can attest to the electricity in the air as tourism season begins and the gloves all come off. If you love kayaking, spelunking, mountain biking, repelling, trekking, trail running, river boarding and map orienting, and you have the physical prowess to engage in these disciplines for hours at a time, Than the Adventure Xstream Series is for you.
There are 6 races total, spanning five different locations over a six month period. Moab being the first and last leg. Participants can sign up as individual, tandem, or four man teams. Course length can range from 25 to 100+ miles. Tandem kayaks, professional rope riggings, event shirts, finish line meals, team photos, medals and printed course maps will be provided. However, participants are encouraged to bring their own GPS or compass, emergency blankets due to the unpredictable spring weather in Moab, and of course an appropriate first aid kit.
